Valve Department

The construction of the new Valve Department based at DRB's Deeside Site commenced on the 15th December 2006, the building work will lat approximately 6 months.

Plant Expansion - update

Work is progressing rapidly at DRB Deeside on the new Valve Department. Already, the roof works are in progress and bricklayers are working on the external walls. Within the construction schedule, the roof and wall cladding and changing rooms will be completed by April, with flooring, heating and internal decorations due for completion in late May. In May, the external works on roads, car parks and landscaping will be completed and the valve equipment will be installed.

David Bennett, Managing Director at DRB Group, said, “The Valve Department Extension is now taking shape and we’re pleased with the progress to date. We expect the construction work to be completed on time, which means that we can start using the facilities early in the Summer”.
